How to edit website templates inside Easy Peasy Funnels

Customizing a Website Template with Easy Peasy Funnels for Dog Trainers

In this video, I’ll walk you through how to take a website template and customize it for a dog training business using Easy Peasy Funnels. Whether you’re new to website building or just need a refresher, this process is straightforward and flexible. Let’s dive in!

Remember to watch the video as it gives you an idea of how to actually use the editor as you go along.

Over time I will be adding more and more edited templates to the mix so you can get ideas for your dog training business brand.

This site contains affiliate links to products. I may receive a commission for purchases made through these links. This doesn’t affect the price you pay, or if it is free, it will remain free. Know that I only promote products that I know, use, like, and trust. If it was 💩 you wouldn’t be hearing about it from me x

Step 1: Clone the Template

Before making any changes, it’s important to clone the template. This way, you always have the original version to fall back on if needed.

In Easy Peasy Funnels, you can simply select the template, click “Clone,” and create a working copy. For this project, I cloned the “Sienna” template shown below in the image. It’s such a gorgeous template in its own right.

Step 2: Choose Fonts and Colors

Next, I opened Canva to choose the fonts and colors for the dog training brand. I settled on:

  • Railway Black for the headline text
  • PT Sans for the subtext

Once you have the fonts and colors selected, go back to the Easy Peasy Funnels editor and apply these changes. It’s also helpful to check how everything looks on mobile, as Easy Peasy Funnels has a built-in mobile view for this.

Step 3: Adjust Text Sizes and Spacing

Now that the fonts are set, it’s time to adjust text sizes and spacing. I made the headline font size 73 and the subtext 18, with a little extra letter spacing for readability. Always experiment until you find the right look.

Step 4: Upload a Relevant Image

For a dog training business, it’s a good idea to include an image that represents your work. I used Canva to create a square image of a dog with a transparent background and uploaded it into Easy Peasy Funnels. If the image still has a background, you can fix this in Canva or by adjusting the page’s background color to blend in.

Step 5: Change Background Colors

I noticed that some sections had a beige background that didn’t fit the brand. To fix this, I navigated to the section settings and changed the background color to white. This made everything look clean and simple.

Step 6: Final Touches

At this point, it’s all about tweaking things to make sure the site flows well. Add any additional content, like details about your dog training services, and adjust the colors where necessary.

I experimented with some color changes, like adding a bit of yellow to a section to see how it would look. Don’t be afraid to experiment!

Saving Your Progress

Lastly, remember to save your work frequently. There’s nothing worse than losing progress because you forgot to hit save!

After making all the adjustments, you’ll have a fully customized page that’s ready for your dog training business. It’s important to remember that building a site takes a bit of trial and error, but Easy Peasy Funnels makes it easy to experiment until everything looks just right.
